Race Day

  1. Official race number – To be worn low down on your back. You may not ride with your PPA fun ride number as this is not a standard PPA fun ride.
  2.  Your RaceTec/Winning Time chip – to be worn on your ankle (with a Velcro strap) or on the special front-wheel quick-release mount, pointing towards the ground.
  3.  Your number board – to be cable-tied to your handlebars, facing forward.
  4. Your Helmet.

Without any one of the above items, you will be refused access to your start chute, and may not ride the Coronation Double Century. Both numbers will be in your race pack (with the relevant zip ties and pins), and RaceTec chips can be purchased for R150 at registration, or from any of the roaming RaceTec representatives who will be on the field on race day.

Rules of the Road

The Coronation Double Century sees more than 3 000 riders on the road, and as such it is vital for everyone’s safety that the rules of the event are read and understood by all.
